TruNaturals was established in 2009 as tribute to the history of cultural pride in the Gholson family.  In the Salounge, you will find a feature hand painted mural of our treasured Ghanaian principles: Sankofa, the benevolent use of knowledge; Duafe, beauty, feminine quality, and hygiene; and Gye Nyame, “but for God.”  TruNaturals is a community landmark, rooted in family and traditions.  We were raised in a village of love; coming to know self-love and cultural awareness as the tenets of African American beauty.
